The Eurostaete building consists of two 40-meter low-rise blocks and a striking 100-meter tower, located directly next to the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven.
Safe Access to Challenging Facades
For this project, Facadexs delivered a fixed telescopic machine with a long reach, specially designed to maintain the hard-to-reach facade sections, including recessed and projecting areas. The machine is equipped with a pantograph gondola, allowing safe washing, inspection, and maintenance of the facades.
Thanks to this installation, even the most challenging facade areas of the residential tower are easily accessible, while safety and efficiency are fully guaranteed.
To safely move the gondola over the stepped facades, the system is equipped with a soft rope safety system and guidance tracks on the lower roofs, to which the gondola is anchored. This ensures safe access to all parts of the facade for maintenance, inspection, and cleaning tasks.
To facilitate glass replacement at these heights, the machine is also equipped with a glass hook with a 175 kg capacity, enabling safe and easy glass replacement work.
Greenroof
A more compact machine is installed on the green roof of the low-rise sections.
This installation is mounted on a freely laid rail system that follows the contours of the roof, with the roof equipped with retention crates. This ensures a stable base for the machine, evenly distributes its weight, protects the roof, and guarantees safe and stable movement of the boom and gondola, while keeping the boom as short as possible for maximum efficiency and safety.
The Highest Skybox at PSV Eindhoven!
Residents of the new Eurostaete residential tower in Eindhoven will enjoy a unique ‘skybox’: from the top floors, there is an almost uninterrupted view of the Philips Stadium. The tower, with its striking 100-meter-high architecture, combines a dynamic design with an impressive panorama over the stadium and the city.
