On the Lantau Island an eight storey, 52 meter (170 foot) high building is the hospital for the ill and injured residents of the Tung Chung district. The North Lantau Hospital is one of the public hospitals under the Kowloon West Cluster, to service the vicinity with 160 inpatient beds, an operating suite, an emergency department, a pharmacy and major outpatient services.

In order to maintain and clean the facades of this hospital, based in Hong Kong we designed and installed a traversing roof car on top of the roof of this hospital. The traversing roof car runs on a roof track so it can clean the entire span of the building.
