Location: San Jose, California, United States of America
Number of units: 1 traversing roof car
In downtown San Jose two new apartment buildings arise, the Silvery Towers. These modern day residential buildings (20 and 22 stories high) compile a total of approx. 700 units; studios, one, two, and three bedroom condominiums. Upon completion the Silvery Towers are expected to include private parking, a fitness and swimming center, a club lounge, dog wash, bike kitchen and more.
Both towers will be equipped with custom designed XSPlatforms FacadeXS equipment: two identical traversing roof cars will be installed, one on top of each tower. The telescopic jibs with a maximum outreach of approx. 9,7 m (32 ft) in combination with the fixed pantograph gondolas provide full access to all parts of the glass facades.
