The tallest building equipped with a Facadexs solution in Asia is in Xiamen, a major city on the coast of the Taiwan Strait. The Xiamen International Centre has reached 344 meters in height.

Our solution

The entire height of the glass facade is to be accessed with cradles suspended from the roof level. For the part of the facade below the protruding platform at the short side of the tower, a type 3 extendable pantograph cradle will be used.

This cradle is suspended from a roof car with a fixed jib and a luffing function, to lift the gondolas from the roof over the glass parapet. The GRU (Glass Replacement Unit) is hoisted separately from the level below the protruding platform, by means of a transportable davit arm.

The opening in the top of the tower is accessed by gondolas suspended from two monorail trajectories at the inside of the opening.
