Also known as traversing work bridges, gantries are the perfect solution for the cleaning of glass atriums that are difficult to access. We can provide exterior and interior gantries, for work on the inside or on the outside of an atrium.
For years, building owners, contractors and architects have relied on us as a supplier of gantries that fit the design of a building. When change took place in the fields of architecture and construction, our gantries evolved as well.
These gantries are fitted to the shape and size of the building, to ensure maximum reach. But the reason that our gantries are at the forefront of the industry, are the ingenious innovations they can be equipped with. These functions make maintenance work from a gantry quick and easy, by facilitating the best possible working conditions for the people that work with them.

Our customers demand more than safe and easy access to complex roof constructions. Gantries are expected to preserve the beauty of architecture by being almost invisible. Our gantries can be fitted for almost every type of roof structure.
We offer customised solutions for gantries on the inside and the outside of a building to minimize visual impact. And although interior and exterior gantries are largely similar, each needs to be customized in a different way. The most important advantage of our gantries is that they get the job done without ruining the appearance of a building.
For example, we could camouflage our solution by using side plates in the same color as the building. Or we could design a gantry that can be parked in a less conspicuous place, by adjusting the rail track.
In case our customers, or their buildings, have any specific requirements, our interior gantry solutions can be equipped with a number of optional functions, allowing workers to reach places above or below the gantry as well.

Interior gantries could be motorized for faster and more convenient mobility. Manually driven gantries are a more economical option.
These extendible working towers allow workers to comfortably reach the higher corners of a glass roof by hand. Additionally, the towers can also be traversed on a rail track inside the gantry, making it possible for it to be placed in the best position for maintenance work.
In most cases, the rails over which gantries move are horizontal. There are, however, buildings that require a sloping track. In that case, our gantries can be equipped with a rack and pinion rail track.
A gantry can be equipped with a trolley moving over a monorail, enabling workers to access heard-to-reach places below the gantry in a gondola or by abseiling. Abseiling can also be used in case of emergency.
An interior gantry can be equipped with self-hoisting gondolas to allow workers to descend and access the hard-to-reach areas below the gantry. The gondola can descend either from a trolley moving over monorails or from fixed points.
These type of gantries are mainly used for window washing and glass replacement work, for example on glass domes. With that in mind, our exterior gantries can be equipped with a special unit that makes this a lot easier.

Usually, glass roofs are not designed to bear the weight of working people. This makes glass replacement very difficult. With a glass replacement unit, windows can be moved to the desired location without the risk of falling or damaging the roof. Furthermore, this unit allows workers to fit glass panels without having to use much force.
